Endless Wonders Books

Portland, Oregon

Endless Wonders is a community space and pop up where books and beings meet, dedicated to storytelling, connection, and discovery. The project’s role is to put its best foot forward in connecting its audience with new voices, stories that invite questions, and works that motivate activism – embracing exploration and humans both conceptually and visually. Drawing from folk art that blends figurative with narrative, EWB’s playfulness embraces endless whimsy.

The branding is grounded with simple and geometrical design, pulling from the Bauhaus school aesthetics and embracing so not only because of the time’s renaissance of education and creative thinking, but one in Germany that coincided with the deliverance of Das lila Lied, “The Lavender Song” – a 1920s cabaret song that was a monumental symbol of queer defiance. As a project that emphasizes connection and conversation, an accessible and playful thread can be found throughout by using kaleidoscopic earth tones, organic edges, natural paper, embellishing patterns and hand drawn script.

Endless Wonders has found its home stocking the shelves of Hungry Heart in Portland, OR with stories by and about people from historically underrepresented communities.
